Would there happen to be any "children" involved in this relationship, or any on the way? Many JW women who have been disfellowshipped "wait" until they feel that their relationship with a man, is right at the edge of being engaged or right at the edge of marriage, to go back to the Kingdom Hall to attempt to get reinstated. Because they think that the man they are involved with will "follow" them right into the Kingdom Hall, and that the man in this relationship will fear losing the woman if he fails to do so.Behind the scenes (without the man knowing it), the woman has already talked to someone to start a Bible study with the man they are involved with, so that the congregation will assume that "both" in this relationship will become JWs.As far as paying taxes, I have yet to hear a good response from them when I point out that Jesus said to pay taxes to the Roman government. I wasn't sure how I would discuss with her father on the issue.

Whether right or wrong, I admire them for sticking to their beliefs on this matter even in the face of death.

The other most notable belief held by most Jehovahs Witnesses is their objection to serving an earthly government.

Allegiance to any other government could conflict with that allegiance.

Furthermore, if they were to fight in a war they might be killing other members of Gods kingdom.
